THIS IS AN OPEN HOUSE: STOP IN ANYTIME BETWEEN 9am and 11am
In the 1970s a run of makers found their way to a prune
town that was quietly becoming a wine town: potters and ceramicists,
printmakers behind Zephyrus Image, water-ski builders, silicon crystal
growers. Their work sits alongside the design and music of the decade
— including album sleeves, protest posters, and campaign graphics —
from the years Healdsburg decided what it wanted to become and pushed
back against developers who had other ideas. Curator Holly Hoods and
co-curator/designer Noah Jeppson open the doors two hours early for
Design Healdsburg.
Stop by for a coffee and conversation!
