We will focus on understanding the artist’s approach to fine wood furniture, and how the creative beauty of this level of work can completely transform a space. The event will start at 2 with sparkling wine, small bites, live piano music and a journey through the appointment-only Dovetail annex, where many incredible furniture treasures from California wood artists are displayed.

Paul has pursued his artistic vision for 40+ years, first in fine sculpture, and then evolving to furniture as sculptural expression. He uses rare materials and the natural forms that inspire him. Working from his Northern California studio, Paul creates pieces that transcend function—dining tables, case goods, and sculptural objects that reference spirals, arches, curves, and organic geometries found throughout the natural world.
Michael Palace, Furniture Artist
Michael makes one-of-a-kind handcrafted furniture that connects you with the beauty of nature. Each piece is inspired by nature and has a special story. The furniture is all sustainably built with recycled wood and local urban logs. Michael has recently completed his portfolio of work and his final collectible pieces are on display exclusively in the Dovetail Annex this weekend and during Sonoma County Art Trails later in October.
